The top 10 yachts to see at the Cannes boat show

Boat show season kicks off with the Cannes yacht show this September 8-13, 2015, and here are 10 of the best superyachts to see at the show.

First up is another brilliant collaboration between Italian yard Baglietto and yacht designer Francesco Paszkowski with the Baglietto 43 Fast. Named Pachamama, she moves fast as her name suggests, reaching a top speed of 33 knots.

Custom Line 108

The very first Custom Line 108 will make her debut at the Cannes boat show. An evolution of the popular Custom Line 100, the new 108 not only adds on extra length and interior volumes, but also more powerful engines, a float-in tender garage and Ferretti’s own Videoworks One Touch Infotainment System.

The new flagship from venerable explorer yacht builder Cantiere delle Marche is the Darwin Class 107 Storm, built for an English owner. She is CdM's largest expedition yacht yet, and perhaps thusly named as she's set to take on challenging sea conditions. See the new yacht at the Cannes boat show.

Monte Carlo Yachts 105

After making a stunning premiere showing in Venice, the new Monte Carlo Yachts 105 will come to the Cannes boat show to give the public an up-close view. With Italian design duo Nuvolari Lenard designing the builder's entire lineup inside and out, the brand's heritage is evident in its new flagship.

Amer 94

Taking advantage of Volvo Penta IPS drives, the new Amer 94 from Amer Yachts will enjoy pod-drive performance and joystick control for easy docking. Amer says they collaborated closely with the engine manufacturer on the design on the 28 metre new yacht. See how she handles at the Cannes boat show.

Firefly, the first Mulder 94 Voyager, is a gentleman's motor yacht designed to go far. She combines a comfortable and contemporary interior, classic exterior lines and explorer yacht performance in one 28.65 metre package. Firefly is also for sale and ready to be taken home by the right owner at the Cannes boat show.

The new FX29 from Turkish builder FX Yachts is aimed at delivering sophisticated superyachts at an affordable cost. Well-suited for outdoor enjoyment, the planing hull yacht has a massive sun deck and welcoming bow lounge.

Dutch yacht builder Van der Valk Continental Yachts will be showing off two new launches at the Cannes boat show, 24.95 metre  Jangada (pictured above) and Santa Maria T. Though both feature design elements by Guido de Groot, pocket superyacht Jangada has been designed for work and play and stands out with a minimalist, well-planned interior as compared to Santa Maria T's lush Art Nouveau stylings. See them both at the Cannes boat show.

Princess Project 31@50

Just in time to celebrate its 50th anniversary this year, British builder Princess Yachts finally unveils its unique restoration project of one of its original yacht models, the Princess 31@50. See the classic yacht at the Cannes boat show. Rather than being restored to match her original design exactly, she features many cool updates, including a vinyl wrap exterior from the Wild Group.

Cantiere Navale Italia Baby

The new Italian yard Cantiere Navale Italia brings its 13 metre superyacht tender Baby to the Cannes boat show. Don't put Baby in the corner of your tender garage, this boat is made to move. Powered by twin Yanmar 370hp diesel stern drives, she reaches a maximum speed of 43 to 45 knots.
