The latest Amels 60 model has been transported to Damen Yachting's facility in Vlissingen, the Netherlands. There, the superyacht will be fully outfitted and prepared for a 2027 delivery date.
She belongs to the ever-popular and"charter-ready" Amels 60 series, with seven sisterships on the water according to BOATPro. The model's distinctive look – characterised by geometric windows – is owed to Espen Øino, while Damen Yachting is responsible for naval architecture.
Custom concept interiors by Rome-based designer Laura Sessa set apart this unit, which is currently for sale and awaiting further customisation by an owner.
"My team, our co-makers and I are excited to start the outfitting stage of this superyacht," said project manager Joppe Osté. "[And] we look forward to working with Laura Sessa's team again, given their extensive experience with the Amels Limited Editions fleet."
The Amels 60 is best known for design features such as a forward helipad, a folding balcony in the owner's suite and its sundeck at a boundary-pushing 162 square metres. Key specs include a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and capacity for 24 persons (12 guests and 12 crew).
According to BOATPro, Damen Yachting has 14 active superyacht projects, including its Amels builds. The Dutch yard recently celebrated the delivery of another Amels 60, Memories.
