Sold in August 2020, the 45 metre Hakvoort motor yacht Awatea is back on the market, listed for sale by Stuart Larsen at Fraser.
Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Hakvoort, Awatea was designed by Cor D. Rover and launched in 2008 with a refit in 2019. She is Lloyds classed and MCA compliant with an interior designed by Felix Buytendijk.
Accommodation is for 10 guests across five cabins including a large main deck master suite with king-sized bed, retractable flat-screen television and a comfortable seating area. All cabins have en suite facilities.
A wide aft deck is arranged as a generous seating area with a large sofa for 10 and two large fixed teak tables. In the main saloon, the dining area and lounge are separated by a subtle partition, which is mirrored on the dining area side and inlaid with artwork on the lounge side. Her interiors are decked out in wood panelling interrupted by touches of sky blue.
The sun deck features a whirlpool tub for up to six people with a teak circular top, as well as lots of open deck space for lounging. An advanced system of awnings fixed to the mast covers the entire sun deck thanks to a smart combination of six stainless steel vertical pipe supports. An L-shaped bar, installed between the funnels, is flanked by four fixed bar stools and features a sink, ice maker and refrigerator, as well as an electric stainless steel grill.
Twin 960hp Caterpillar engines give Awatea a range of 4,600 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 11.3 knots.
Awatea is asking €19,500,000.
